Celebrating Rosh Hashanah Yom Kippur

“On the first day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work. It is a day for you to blow the trumpets.” — Numbers (Bamidbar) 29:1

As Rosh Hashanah begins this evening when the sun sets, we extend our warmest wishes to all who celebrate in our community. May this season of reflection and renewal bring you peace, joy, and sweetness in the year ahead. We also recognize that Yom Kippur follows soon after, beginning at sunset on Wednesday, October 1. May these days of meaning and tradition be a time of connection, hope, and blessings for you and your loved ones.

Shanah Tovah from all of us at the Middle East Studies Center!
