OSU Community
Are you an OSU student or alumni who would like to get involved with the faculty, staff and students who focus on the Middle East? Join the Middle East Studies forum! You will have the chance to join intimate gatherings with scholars and newbies alike and will be informed about the current opportunities and resources both on campus and online.
Please also follow MESC on Twitter to get the most up-to-date information. Finally, we share job postings and calls for scholarly papers on our LinkedIn page. Please consider sharing a photograph with the community using this form.
For Alumni:
We keep our community open to graduates, offering them a space to make connections and share their experiences. Through our podcast and our forum, we uplift our faculty and alumni voices on issues relating to the Middle East.
For Scholars:
Is there a topic you have expertise on? Let us know.
While our affiliated faculty at OSU form the core of our scholar community, all are welcome. We provide opportunities for you to share your knowledge in local classrooms, through online activities, and programs we offer with partners such as the Columbus Council on World Affairs. We specialize in bringing the cultural context of the Middle East into research in an array of disciplines. Get involved. Check our upcoming events to see what is coming up, or sign up for our newsletter!
For Students:
We aim to connect students with faculty, educational resources, travel opportunities, funding sources, and job postings.
