Jodi R. Spencer, is a horticulturist, educator, and entrepreneur based in Columbus, Ohio, with extensive experience in urban agriculture, food sovereignty, and community-based education, particularly through her leadership in the Greater Columbus Growing Coalition.

Educational and Occupational Background:

Jodi holds degrees in Agriculture Business and Horticulture and is recognized for her innovative approaches to growing healthier, more productive plants. She is deeply involved in community education, teaching topics related to pollinators, soil health, and regenerative agriculture.  

Jodi is the owner and operator of Dorothy England Legacy Farm and is currently restoring the historic Vincent Walters Music Academy Property in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood of Columbus, Ohio.

She has served as president of the Greater Columbus Growing Coalition and is a board member for organizations such as Simply Living, Local Matters, Westgate Farmers Market, and Sunbury Urban Farm.
