Sarah Spencer is a fourth-year student double majoring in World Politics and EEDS (Environment, Economy, Development, Sustainability).
She works as a Legislative Page at the Ohio House of Representatives, and plans to attend graduate school for a higher degree in Economics or International Relations. She also served as a Civil Discourse Fellow through the Ohio State Center for Ethics and Human Values where she moderated a debate on the foreign aid responsibilities of the Global North.
She is currently conducting research with Dr. Donald Sylvan regarding the impact of war on peace-building initiatives in Israel and Palestine, as well as with Dr. Eliot Alexander regarding the potential for sustainable agricultural practices to reduce poverty and spur economic opportunity in developing regions.
