Part of the mandate given to us by Title VI authorities is to increase the pool of experts in our area by strengthening the "pipeline," from elementary school to university graduates. Language and inter-cultural awareness education develop students on the personal, academic and professional levels. Thus we strive to provide the tools and information students need to gain the appropriate experience and training. We do this by:
- Engaging with students at Career Fairs and Career Events at OSU
- Giving Presentations and Q&A sessions on International Careers, and
- Providing feedback on resumes and helping students find needed resources
We have presented for Columbus State Community College, Wilberforce University, and Central State University, as well as multiple programs on OSU's campus for pre-collegiate students and freshmen. Would you like us to present at your school? Please let us know how we can be of help: mesc@osu.edu.
