This event will be an interactive session on "Many Middle Easts" hosted by the Middle East Studies Center for faculty, students, scholars and individuals interested in the the Middle East. The Middle East Studies Center creates multidisciplinary learning opportunities that forge relationships across departments and with members of the the community. We will share our current projects and layout a framework for creating these types of opportunities. Participants will walk away knowing how to create learning opportunities about Middle East outside of the traditional classroom, and having a personal contribution in mind. Contributions might be mentoring, reviewing materials, taking part in a simulation, sharing a personal reflection or story related to culture, history, geography.
