Egyptian filmmaker Tamer El Said visits the Wex with his acclaimed debut feature In the Last Days of the City, a lyrical film-within-a-film about a filmmaker (played by The Square’s Khalid Abdalla) struggling to visually capture the spirit of Cairo during turbulent times, both for himself and for his country in the wake of the fall of the Mubarak regime.
