Bridging Cultures has been around for 8 summers and has brought together students from Georgia, Romania, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Turkey, and the USA, to name a few. This summer program through Atatürk University is a valuable opportunity for students to experience Turkish history, language and culture, and to share traditions and practices from their own country.
From June 30- July 11 2014, students selected to be a part of the "Building Bridges of Understanding" Summer Program will travel to Erzurum, Turkey. They will tour important and historical sites in and outside of Erzurum. They will have a chance to take classes that will introduce them to the Turkish language and cultural practices.
